Jan 15 - Anybody for Peanut Butter? Well we now have it in our bark line of Swanky Chocolates. And they’re doing quite well instore thank you. FYI, the peanut butter is pure, not the compound chemistry in most every other like product.

Nov 8, 2018 - Tonight’s the Night, the Taste of Cape Ann event at the Cruiseport in Gloucester, MA, from 6-8pm. We will be there sampling not only our praline gourmet nuts, but also our new white bark chocolate line. The Cape Ann YMCA's Taste of Cape Ann features the best of Cape Ann eateries offering food, wine and spirits for one $25 ticket price. 100% of ticket sale proceeds support the Cape Ann YMCA’s teen programs.
October 22, 2018- John and I had the honor of being interviewed by Professor John Friar at Northeastern University in Boston MA. They’re doing an international case study on That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts & Swanky White Chocolate Bark. John and I also spoke to the professor’s entrepreneur class last March about bootstrapping our business.
August 22, 2018- Lisa spoke at Whole Foods in Hyannis MA about being an entrepreneur and shared her story of how Whole Foods discovered the Praline nuts at a farmers market.
October 19, 2018- That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts celebrates 5 years in business! To honor my ancestors and their candy business Swanky Chocolate, who inspired me, we have introduced a new product line, Swanky White Chocolate Bark with Almonds.
March 5, 2018- We attended the Local Crop & Specialty Food Show in Boston presented by the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts and made many great contacts.
March 4, 2018- Lisa was a guest on Food Talk with Billy Costa at 104.9 Northshore radio.
December 20, 2017- Lisa spoke at Whole Foods Hyannis about how her ancestor’s candy business Swanky Chocolate inspired her Praline nut snacks.
November 10, 2017- Lisa showcased samples of her signature Acorn Squash recipe sprinkled with Breakfast in New England Praline Nuts at Whole Foods in Lynnfield MA. Customers and employees alike thoroughly enjoyed the dish!
October 31, 2017-That Nutty Redhead becomes a Registered Trademark.
September 21, 2017- Lisa showcased samples of her signature Acorn Squash recipe sprinkled with Breakfast in New England Praline Nuts at Whole Foods in Andover MA. Customers raved about the recipe and sales of nuts were brisk!
August 17, 2017- Lisa dressed in her Victorian attire from her traveling museum collection and took some of her antique accessories to display at Whole Foods local night in Swampscott MA. She also displayed photos of her ancestors and the cookbook from 1901 with the candied nut recipe that was her inspiration for That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts. Lisa’s maternal ancestors had a candy business in the early 1900’s called Swanky Chocolate in PA.
March 29, 2017- John and I were asked to speak at Northeastern University in Boston to Professor John Friar’s entrepreneur class. I met the professor at a demo for That Nutty Redhead at Roche Brothers Market in W. Roxbury MA. He was intrigued by my story of selling at farmers markets to being discovered by Whole Foods in 9 short months of business. His class was very receptive as we shared our journey of bootstrapping a business with them.
December 31, 2016- That Nutty Redhead featured in Northshore Magazine which showcases north of Boston events and businesses.
September 13, 2016- Lisa was invited by personal invitation to Next Level Summits food summit in Palm Springs CA for their Research & Development weekend. NLS offers high caliber one to one pre-scheduled focused private meetings, along with world class cutting edge conference programs. Highlights included meeting the vice president of global snacks for PepsiCo, as well as R&D reps from Smuckers and Baskin Robbins.
May 15, 2016- That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts begins to sell in Whole Foods markets in New England.
April 8, 2016- Melt Ice Cream parlor in Salem which carries our Praline nut snacks has created a signature ice cream flavor for us with That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nut bits called Nutty Almond.
Winter 2015- That Nutty Redhead featured in the winter edition of Edible Boston Magazine.
October 25, 2015- That Nutty Redhead is featured in the Boston Sunday Globe newspaper.
July 9, 2015- That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts is featured in The Jewish Journal.
April 27, 2015- That Nutty Redhead Praline Gourmet Nuts meets with Whole Foods about getting into the New England region of stores.
March 2, 2015- That Nutty Redhead featured in Gloucester Daily Times.
